Thanks! I was thinking so I just needed a little confirmation before I pulled the trigger!

THEY DO EXIST ! THEY DO EXIST ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_53iGWg99fo

FINALLY got my Lariat FX4 ! Ordered on 9-16-16, built 11-1-16 and finally got it this week. Pretty nice. Everything checks out and is as it is supposed to be. Haven't driven it very much. Been busy with my mom in the hospital and taking care of that. Ready to get on with doing some mods. Have lots of stuff crowding the garage and ready to clear out. Did get my tires swapped over to blackwalls today. I think it looks much better.

Nice tow mirrors! How did it take Ford nearly 3 months to get the truck to Houston? Was it a KC build or Dearborn?

Well, it was built 11-1-2016 in Kansas City and got caught up in the Ford "3.5EB/10 speed trans hold up". Being one of the first ones and put in the back lot, it was buried behind the other 15,000 trucks (or 7500 if you count half in Dearborn and half in KC). Sort of first one in - last one out kind of deal. Plus I didn't know the plants shut down for the holidays. Anyway I don't think I'll know the real reason for taking so long. All I know is it took a helluva long time !

Very nice. I'm excited that we are finally getting to see everyone's new babies. Hopefully mine will arrive within the week. Then I will post pictures as well.

Ordered on Dec 21, I finally got a VIN and a build date this week. Should be built Feb 5th for a slated arrival around the 16-22nd. I guess I better get hustling to get rid of the '15 before it lands.

Post your door jamb payload sticker when it arrives, and I'll do likewise. I'm interested to see how much difference the combo of moonroof, power running boards and FX4 make.

When you say you got the VIN and build date, was that from COTUS or your dealer? Mine's supposed to build during the week beginning 6 Feb and the VIN has been assigned for a couple weeks but still doesn't show in the regular COTUS page (it's visible on the wwwqa.cotusa.ford.com page though.)

Default How payload is impacted by add-ons.

I have had my truck for about a week now and am still blown away by the speed and the ride. It's a daily driver until this spring and summer when I plan to tow a travel trailer all around. Some specs: GCWR 16,900, Tow Rating 11,600. Payload for this truck is supposed to range from 1641 to 2320. I added some weight with the moonroof, tailgate step, bedliner and the beefed up max tow bumper and stabilizer bar. Here's what I got:

And my payload:

My 20 foot travel trailer weight 4,000 pounds. I think I'm good

You are right ! Mine wants to take off and ruuunnnnn ! Have to hold her back. Just the short time I've had it, I've already accidentally set off the panic alarm twice. And I guess my driving style dictates more than three blinks on a lane change. Plus I've got a whole new learning curve trying to back it into my garage. Backing it in is the only way it will fit. But right now my main task is selling my 2000 Silverado Z-71. So I'm driving it more than the new one.
