Default Off subject, but will this be in future F-150s

There are major changes coming to the 2018 Mustang, such as NO V-6. But the bigger question is will we see a 12-inch, all-digital LCD dashboard screen that can be customized for Normal, Sport and Track modes in sometime in the 2019 or 2020? I for one wouldn't mind a fully customizable dashboard.

To get an idea what may migrate to our trucks, check out this:

I'm not familiar with Mustangs, but I didn't see a 12" screen the pic in that story, unless I'm not looking in the right area for it.

I really just wish these OEMs would just allow iPad integration. Every time the car fires up the iPad turns on and a "Ford" app just automatically pops up. Everything could be done with that thing. No need for all these different screens and such. Easily updated too.

I was 100% expecting to see a picture of a working door latch when I clicked on this thread.

The 12" screen is a replacement for the instrument cluster. And yes, I would expect that at some point this will make it into the F150-and similar to the mustang, be exclusive to upper trims.

The digital dash looks great in the new Continental (despite confusing and convoluted controls for it) and this is no exception. Can't wait to see it migrate to our trucks, though it will likely be done for the 2020 model year.
