Default Is this the OEM filter?

Picked up a 2016 5,000 miles F150 a few weeks ago and just checking the filters now. Going to check the cabin one next. Is this a Ford OEM filter? It looks like the original owner never changed it out. Doesn't seem to dirty to me should I just leave it in or swap for a new one?

Looks right and I'd put it right back in.

Go to Rockauto, place an order for a bunch of (all OEM) engine air filters, oil filters, cabin filters, set of belts, and spark plugs - enough to get you beyond 100,000.

At 5K miles, it wouldn't worry me if nothing was changed. But you obviously want at least 1 oil change. Brake fluid also has to be changed (2 years max), but nothing else. Never heard of a truck with that low mileage. Even mine, which I hardly use, has 7,400 in 1-1/4 years. At any rate, I'd change the oil and brake fluid right away, and check the truck in and out. Good luck with the purchase.

Yeah they definitely did one oil change as the sticker says 10,000 for next one. I am going to stick to 5k intervals. There is a little vibration as well so I think it needs an alignment. There is also a lot of squeaking coming from the rear end over bad bumps. Not sure if its inside the cab or the bed.

With that low of miles over that length of time those tires have sat stationary a lot. Your vibration is likely the tires out of round (flat spot) from sitting. Unless it came out of the factory off you do not need an alignment at those miles and is not the cause of vibration. I would give it 500-1000 miles and see if the vibration goes away as the tires are driven more. Your squeak in the rear can be caused by the leaf springs. Spray some lithium grease on the ends of the leaf packs where each leaf ends and see if it makes a difference.
