Default Nut buster.....

After picking my wife up on the side of the interstate in her 16' Mustang for a blow out. (5,000 miles) I check traffic get down on the throttle, and there was a little shimmy and loss of power. I see the yellow wrench light come on. Obviously in limp mode. I pull into a parking lot, shut off truck, and start back up. It's gone. Truck runs fine. Wtf just happened and why? 16' Screw 2.7eb with a 5* tuner. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!!

Sounds like the symptom of water ingestion ... was it humid out ? Condensation can build up in the intercooler and when you gave it gas to get into traffic, that little bit of water gets sucked into the motor.... shimmy, stutter, shake... check engine light.... Then goes off when restarted. My 11 was notorious for this. Happened a couple times on my 2013 too. Not yet on my 16.....

Yeah, I'm in Mississippi. It's still 90 degrees with a 100 heat index at 8:30. The actual check engine light never came on, just the wrench. Thanks for your input, brother.

Sounds similar to the issue ILoveMyF150Lariat and SloMoJoe had.
