Default Is this normal?

Just wondering if this is normal and everyone else’s F150s do this. Wondering if I need a trip to dealer. The pic makes it look not as dark. But it’s dark. Thanks!

Headlight, no, it shouldn't be fogged up.

great. I called up at my local dealer and the service department said it’s normal. I knew it wasn’t.

The service department is wrong. It’s not normal.

The side mirror has automatic tinting to help prevent glare from other vehicles headlights. It only operates when your headlights are on. I assume that is what you are asking about in the side mirror picture. The passenger side doesn’t dim.

yea I was just making sure it suppose to get that dark. It’s never done that before. Just a tad dark. It’s so dark all I can see is headlights. Not cars.

For the headlight, if it was cold outside, and the car wash water was warm/hot, it could just be temporary condensation. Did it go away quickly, or stay like that for hours?

it went away in like 5-10 min. When I got home I checked. First time it happened. It wasn’t cold outside. Like 65 degrees.

If the wash water was pretty warm, I could see that scenario, even at 65 degrees. Keep an eye on it, but I'm guessing nothing to worry about.

The tinting side mirror is one of the best things about your truck. You'll miss it the next time your in a vehicle without it.
