No inside button for tailgate release??

We've made life so hard for ourselves now. I remember long ago when life was so easy knowing we had to do things. Now that most things ARE done for us, it's difficult when something isn't automatic.

We've made life so hard for ourselves now. I remember long ago when life was so easy knowing we had to do things. Now that most things ARE done for us, it's difficult when something isn't automatic.
Yes, life used to be so easy. Years ago, when you wanted to open your tailgate, you had shut the engine down, put the truck in gear so it wouldn't roll (because the parking brake was probably rusted in the off position), get out of your truck, walk back to the tailgate, fight with the chain latch on each side, unlatching the chain and attaching it to the eyelet, then opening the tailgate.
