New exhaust exiting under rear bumper?

I installed the complete Raptor exhaust (with Corsa resonator delete x-pipe) and painted Raptor bumper to match. I was originally going to use the Ford Performance/Borla system but decided to go with true duals. Other than cost of Raptor bumper and paint, the cost was about the same as Ford/Borla system. I could have done without the Raptor bumper, but like the look. I'm very happy with it other than drop in mileage, I get on it more now than before. LOL!

I was under Raptors taking photos and measuring quite a lot before ordering the down pipes. I had already bought the resonator, muffler and tail pipes from someone local who had changed his exhaust. I paid $125 so if it didn't work out, I wouldn't have been out much. I was able to use existing mounts and only had to by 4 new ones. Most of the take offs are going for more than I paid. Just make sure you get the clamps, I didn't. Most of the clamps are part of the system, but 2 of them are used to join same diameter pipes together and OEM cost over $30 each. That's the only part I went after market on, other than Corsa resonator delete X-pipe which was $400.
I tied up more in the Raptor bumper than I had hoped to, but I really like the way it looks. Another forum member that did this conversion before I did used his original bumper and it looks good. After I paid $400 shipped for the takeoff bumper (end pieces, brackets and long black pad), it dropped about $40. I've seen them for as low as $300. Then I paid just over $200 to have it painted Race Red.
I'll get some more pics from underneath as soon as I can. I am also going to try to do a sound clip. One of the local dealers (not where I bought my truck, they would only do 10%) treats me very well on parts. Plus I do all my own work.
All in all, I am very happy with the way it came out...both looks and sound.

Find a good muffler shop and they can do it. Mine runs under the hitch but I still have access to my spare and there is no pipe running behind the rear end pumpkin, I think that looks crappy. There is about a 2 finger gap between the bottom of the bumper and the top of the exhaust pipe, that bothers some people but I don’t mind it.

I used a dual outlet Flowmaster and tail pipes from an MBRP kit. Didn't get in the way of the spare tire, only moved the axle vent tube and the electronic rear locker harness a little further away from the driver side pipe to prevent them from getting too close to the hot pipe.
