Default Need help identifying this plug/sensor

Hi,
I just bought a 2016 F150 2.7 liter ecoboost. I noticed that this plug (see pics) was unplugged and was wondering what this plug/sensor is for. Any ideas why it would be unplugged?
Thanks

Looks like an A/C pressure sensor to me. See if you have any DTCs with a good scan tool, plug it back in, reset the DTCs and see what comes back. I'd take it back to where I bought it from for sure.

Air conditioning. I'd guess the original owner was having trouble with it. Looks like its leaking also with the yellow ick around the other filler that should have a cap on it.

I'm a little shocked the other line isn't capped too and that it looks so dirty. Does the A/C even work?

Looks like A/C release valve-core is missing entirely, hence yellow refrigerant lube all over it.
AC probably toast.

Thanks for all the replies. Looks like it’s not good lol. It was cold out and I didn’t have a chance to check the AC (which I regret) but I haven’t officially bought the truck yet so I’ll see if I can get it checked out. I suspect that if the AC is shot, it wouldn’t be a cheap repair.

Especially if some one used sealer to attempt a repair.

So backstory, this truck is coming from a company selling off some of its fleet. In excellent condition otherwise and we’ll maintained with records to prove it

Apparently the truck was in 2 weeks ago getting regular maintenance and a new fuel pump. They also refilled the AC. It’s a one owner truck with all the maintenance done at the dealer. They said the yellow goup is excess from recharging the AC and the tech forgot to cap it again and plug the plug back in. It’s a reputable company and they are more than willing to work with me. Do these reasons seem legit?
