Apparently the truck was in 2 weeks ago getting regular maintenance and a new fuel pump. They also refilled the AC. It’s a one owner truck with all the maintenance done at the dealer. They said the yellow goup is excess from recharging the AC and the tech forgot to cap it again and plug the plug back in. It’s a reputable company and they are more than willing to work with me. Do these reasons seem legit?
it has a leak! Was it fixed?

Wait a second...It was a fleet vehicle, but one owner?? Forgot to cap and plug the plug back in ? It should look like something like the bung on your tire, or a bicycle tire when you were young.

If you live somewhere A/C is important to you, I'd walk away.

Aside from my above statement, I'd also walk away wondering what the hell else is wrong with this truck!

Looks like the A/C is toast. I see the cap and possibly the pintle out of the low pressure side which means no refrigerant left if so. Maybe they unplugged the high side pressure switch to keep from getting an A/C DTC?
