FWIW, ebay flaps are more expensive than the fordparts.com ones I got from MN shipped to KY! It's all in a thread here too...

Which thread are you referring to?

Fairway Ford is selling a set of 4 on ebay for $89.99.
Fordparts.com is selling sets of 2 for $49.99

I'm confused......

Just an OEM rear flap install tip that might help those with pending orders.

For those with the factory plastic wheel well flares, there is one screw that the instructions tell you to remove. It is the screw that holds the bottom trim on closest to the wheel well. The instructions tell you to remove the screw and the clip that is on the box by the wheel well. The clip is next to impossible to remove. Ford gives you a new screw that goes up through the bottom of the mudflap and into this new clip you are supposed to install. After not being able to free the old clip from the box body, I found that the original screw was indeed just long enough to go through the mudflap and through the existing clip. You don't have to worry about the whole aluminum vs steel corrosion, as these are the same screws that came from the factory. Hopefully it will save you some headaches during the install.
