After picking up the truck yesterday, today I got to do an 80 mile round trip on the highway. I actually drove out to WeatherTech's showroom to pick up my front and rear floor liners. They fit like a glove.

This truck is so quiet, I was doing 80 mph without even knowing it. Backed down a bit and kept varying my speed. The truck tracked perfect.

For those of you wondering about the 5.0 with the 3.73, it was running at 1,600 rpms at 60mph and 1,900 rpms at 70mph. Got 18.5 mpg for the round trip.

The lane departure warning works awesome. I have it set to only vibrate and not do the correction. Love it.

Some people complained about the Sony stereo. Does it sound as good as my Mark Levinson in my Lexus GX?....no but sounded pretty damn good. CD's sounded great as well as Sirius and FM.

My only gripe is the rear fold down armrest issue.

Installed my Bakflip F1 when I got home. Took a half hour. Simplest install every. The front Splashguards took 10 mins each. Also each. The rears were a little more complicated as there is a metal bracket that gets attached. About a half hour each. I also really like my Ford rubber bed mat. I got the factory spray in liner and the rubber mat fits perfectly over it. Last was the Ford Tailgate protector. Take 8 screws out of the tailgate, lay the plastic cover over and screw in 8 new screws. 10 minute install. The protector is the same material as Ford's drop in bed liner.

Pictures to come.

Steevr,

Thanks for the posting. When time permits, I would appreciate seeing some pics of the OEM bed mat and tailgate protector.

Yes, I drove to that showroom. Nice leisurely ride. Truck got pretty salty from the wet ride this morning but couldn't I couldnt have asked for warmer day to install everything. I promise pictures tomorrow. I'll also be putting the Bakbox in.

I forgot to mention I also installed the $30 LEDs that some of us got from Amazon for the fog lights. 5 minutes each from under the truck without having to remove any liners etc. it's easier to twist the bulb unit out first and then disconnect the plug while its hanging. Reverse for the install. Put the plug on first then twist the new bulb into place.

I was rushing to finish as I had to get cleaned up for dinner with friends tonight. Now I get to go for a ride

ditto
and maybe a night pic to see if they are that much different
I was surprised ford and sylvania spent so much time and effort of the led headlights to only leave the fogs as halogen bulbs

$$$$$. No one is going to buy or not buy a truck because it has LED fogs.
