Forgot about the gt350 intake. Looks like a good mod. Boss is also common and cheaper but I like the gt350's power curve much better (probably to do with keeping the imrc).

I do some hauling now and own land about 3.5 hours away in SW PA. I now do a good amount of mountain driving. just looking to add a little power. it is a 4x4 supercrew. Wallet is good but not oozing LOL. Based on all the responses, i am thinking.
1. cold air intake spotted one w 13.9 RWHP 19.7 ft-lbs RWTQ
2. A chip yet to be determined
3. A exhaust upgrade.
Love the truck have about 5K in lights cap and a DECKED cargo system. Life style has changed a little an d wanna upgrade what i already have.

thanks again for the help

which cold air intake is this? those numbers look to good to be true. Id like to look into that if its true. Most will say the factory intake is more than adequate and an aftermarket intake wont yield much but noise.

Thanks gb

Keep in mind that additional power gained from intakes are usually in the high RPM ranges, not exactly useful for everyday driving. If you always mash the throttle then I guess it's OK.

I'd look at your gearing first. If you have a 5.0 with 3.31 gears, doing a gear swap to 3.73 will negate the need for any exhaust, "chip", or intake. Figure about $2300 on the high end to get a gear swap done. That's where I'd put my money if I had a V8. If you have an ecoboost then a simple $400 tune will take care of your problems.

Looks like that intake comes with a tune to get those numbers. That would explain the $760+ price tag. but thanks for the info.
