generally you wont gain much if you have the 5.0 without digging into the engine a bit - cams, s/c etc

you may gain a few hp with intake and exhaust, but not a whole lot
tunes are debatable with the 5.0, but they seem to help the ecoboosts a whole lot

one issue I had right away was the transmission shift points- that's what I got a tune for, both 5 star and mpt offer tunes to change the horrible factory shift points

also gearing might have a lot to do with it to
WHY ford chose 3.31 or even 3.55 for the 5.0 is beyond me 3.73 is the way to go for the 5.0
gears don't hurt the eco boost too much, cause their power comes on a lot sooner

Very broad question

But GENERALLY speaking, intake, tune, exhaust in that order are first level of basic bolton performance stuff.

Then cams, gears, forced induction, list and price just goes from there on how much willing to spend and how much power you want to add.

Start with your wallet, as that usually determines how much HP you can afford!

Default Diablo

A guy I work with who races cars mentioned Diablo SCT chip. Said that could give 50HP more and might improve MPG a little bit. I am not looking to add a lot of power. But a little bit more then pushing the sport button. I known nothing about this stuff. I was also thinking of add bigger tires on factory 20" rims.

Thank you guys
