more design flaws...
I found another glaring design flaw and am hoping this one has a fix. There is no hard "mute" button for the phone. I frequently take conference calls in the truck and have a need to mute unless I am speaking. I have to hit the soft mute key to do this. There is a "mute" key on the wheel but apparently it only mutes the radio, which is stupid. Is there a way to re-assign this unused mute button to do what any competent designer should have done from the start? I'd like to re-assign or even add hard buttons for phone mute, steering wheel heater and display off. Is there a way to fix these glaring design flaws?

You could mount up the phone and use the hard mute button on it. Oh wait...Stupid phone designers use a soft button for mute too, so they have the same glaring flaw.

My conference calls are normally:
- Scheduled for a set time which allows me time to find a place to park, get my computer up & running.
- Calls are defined in scope, limiting them to short duration.
- It is against company policy to take calls while driving.

Ii just miss the old land lines where I could slam that phone down and they knew I was (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻. 😝. Sometimes my wife or others have to yell at me to hang up as call won’t end. Glad I watch what I say now. My mouth gets me in enough troubles. 😁

So how is this a design flaw, when it only effects you, and maybe 3 other people?
