2018 F150 Lariat w/ 3.5 and FX4 package 80k miles.
I believe the dealer that failed to rebuild the front diff properly left a splash pan off. I haven't spent a lot of time under this truck, but I do swap to winter/summer wheels/tires twice a year, have replaced pads and rotors, and chased an axle seal leak.
It looks like a missing front splash to me. Unfortunately Ford has chosen to not make online "microfiche" available any longer so I guess I'll need to visit the dealer parts dept to find details on the part (that they likely trashed) while my truck is in their service dept.
Looks like I'll need #15 (and hardware)? Strange that this particular parts search system won't use my VIN...
Incredibly unfortunate that this dealer doesn't want my business and decided to go with "...we looked at other trucks and they don't have anything there..." after $20k in work.
LOL microfiche. You're going to need to explain that to the youngsters.
I just found a small stash of what used to be somewhat pricey and usually proprietary design bulbs!
I still have 2 'fiche sets for my 93 CBR900RR and the wife's CBR600F2. I gave the 2004 Acura TL set away (with a hard copy HELM factory shop manual set) to the guy that bought the car. He didn't understand. I bounced the giant Bell & Howel box during our last move.
..like trying to explain the nuance between Kodachrome and Ektachrome...
This rediscovered Ford resource was buried so far into Google's search results I thought Ford had stopped making it available...
Perhaps I'm incorrect in assuming there was a splash guard keeping me from viewing the lower front of the engine (belts and oil filter) from under the truck?
This orange panel appears to run from the bumper facia or support back toward the fan shroud, so I would be unlikely to see it from under the truck?
