Default Mirror tap help

I wasn’t happy with the kit I got to hardwire my dash cam to the fuse box so I got a mirror tap kit. Anyone know what wires are the ground and a wire that’s only hot with the key on? It’s a 2018 XLT if that matters.

I think mine (2018) had black as power and the green as ground. Use a multi-meter to verify. Easy peasy.

On my 2020 it goes:

Red mirror tap wire to black plug wire. (Yes black is positive power, go figure).
Black mirror tap wire to green plug wire.

Both are on the bottom row of the plug.

On your photo, if the wires are in the same location as mine, that would be black (+) and black/yellow (ground) wires.

The hot wire was the top right. It was a bluish color. I tried the yellow striped one four spots down for the ground and it appears to be working.
