Default Memory Heated/Cooled Seat Function

Alright guys, I’ve got a question... the guys that have the “new” 2018 models have this feature now that remembers if you had the heated seats on the last time and you don’t have to manually push the button after pushing the start button after a remote start. Now for us “old” 2017 & older models is there any way we can get this feature with forscan? It would definitely be a nice feature to have! Let’s see if we can figure this out 💪🏼

My guess is that the bezel and/or seat module will need to be updated to the latest calibration (if it will take the latest calibration) and/or replaced with a new one.

I just found this out today with my neighbors new 2018 Raptor. His heated seats come on automatically after starting it up. It’s definitely nice not having to push the screen/button everytime every time you cycle the ignition switch. I just don’t know what area to look at it in Forscan...

You don’t think it would be a simple change in Forscan if your 17 model has it to then?

The '18 Raptor has the new memory function? That is interesting as I thought they were carryover models. Did they get the defroster grid under the wipers too?

Not that I saw. That’s why I’m thinking it would be an easy add on with Forscan. Not much is different between the 17s -18s besides they got ride of the ambient lightning and now this memory function added.

Would I be able to update the firmware or would the dealer have to do it? Thanks
