Locally we are probably a little higher (3-4 in 10) (lots of oil patch trucks) but I was shopping in Kelowna, BC (they are apparently the largest volume dealership(s) in BC *they own two there)........there were tops 1 in 10 6.5 boxes, probably lower.....fortunately found one that fit my needs (they did have a couple hundred trucks to choose from lol).

I'm guessing one of twenty F150's in screw is a 6.5.
I don't doubt this a bit. I wanted a Scab, not a Screw. When I was shopping, my dealer had more than 60 new F150's on the lot, and only 2 were Scabs. Only 2 were 6.5' Screws. I don't know who they're selling all those shortbed Screws to. Empty bedders, I guess.

I think the 6.5' bed Scab and the 5.5' bed Screw are the same wheelbase and about the same overall length. I think the reasoning lies somewhere within that.

I never had an issue withe 5.5' bed. I also had the bed extender in my truck. Almost anything that will not fit in 5.5' bed with the tailgate up will also not fit in a 6.5' bed (Drywall, Lumber, Etc.).

I've had a super crew with a 5.5 ft bed and a super cab with a 6.5 ft bed. My next truck will be a super crew with a 6.5 ft bed

5 months ago i would def be paying over 60k for a platinum but now with the year end and the 2018's having the refresh theres some major rebates. The window sticker is $77k.

There are at least 10-2017 platinum's within a 300km distance from me and only one is the 6.5ft.
