Default Looking at tailgate hinge locks

Anyone have good or bad experiences with a particular brand? These go over the right side slotted tailgate hinge.
I’m looking at the McGard one, plastic housing covering a hose worm clamp with special key driver, and
Masterlock, stainless steel housing with a (plastic?) keyed ratchet.

I've always just used a good hose clamp.

McGard here. Because a tail gate is a terrible thing to waste.

Sabellcos tailgate locks seem to have pretty good reviews. I haven't purchased one yet but I plan on it in the near future.

They're definitely pricier than other options though.

I just use a hose clamp for a little extra security, otherwise as others have said, it does lock and there is insurance.
