Did any body get a airbag light after the swapped out their new steering wheel? I just did mine and I have one. Do I need to reset this!?

Remove the airbag and double check the two connections to make sure they're seated correctly.

You are right! I never pushed the securing clips in. Thank you for the reply. It’s much appreciated! I’m new here but everyone has been great! Thank you and the group!

I'm debating whether to leave the dark trim piece on. It's almost so dark that it blends in with the wheel, but, it doesn't match any of the other silver plastic pieces. I've actually been thinking about replacing some of those as well.

Default Installed! JL3Z-3600-VB - Greg stitching

Hi All, so I finally installed the JL3Z-3600-VB! Looks and feels great. I have a 16 Lariat with the 501a package and it didn’t come with heated steering. From reading the threads I had hopes it might have the right clock spring but it didn’t. This steering wheel is heated and comes with the plug in. It also has adaptive cruise control which mine didn’t have. All I did was swap the faces and plugged my old one onto the new steering. Everything works great and yes this has grey stitching so if you are looking for grey this is your wheel. Again, I want to thank everyone in this group for the insight. I had to do some digging but eventually made the right choice on the wheel!

You can transfer the plastic trim (and buttons) from your current wheel to the new wheel, so you don't have to match it when purchasing. I'd recommend paying more attention to the stitching color, some are tan others are grey.

yeah I know that part right now I’ve got the black plastic trim and the vinyl type wheel, looking to get the same color trim that steering wheel has with the same smooth leather and grey stitching, I think my best best would to just get the raptor wheel

I'm in the same boat as you. I know the buttons transfer over so that's not a problem. I'm looking for the dark gray trim piece as well with gray stitching.
