Default Leveling question?

I had my 2018Lariat leveled with 2" Front RC Extensions when I bought it. Factory 20 inch tires.. My query is this. I have put some weight in the back and noticed that it seems to "sag" a bit . I was thinking that I should put in 1 inch rear spacer blocks. Would this change the levelness noticeably? Hind sight says I should have gone 2.5 on front and 1 in the rear. The truck looks great leveled, just want to rectify the slight nose up under weight. Am I being **** about the one inch addition to the rear or is it a waste of time?

Anyone have good advice?

Everybody has their own opinion. I did two inch level and thought the same thing ...up in the front...airplane wing... cleared for takeoff. I had the rear blocks but thought about it a few weeks before I put them in. 2 inch lift, back to factory rake and I’m happy.... to each our own, but I still get 20+ mpg w 2 inch lift and never worry about looking loaded all the time.

So a 1 inch block will slightly offset and give it a slight rake?

Well, if you buy a leveling kit, and level the truck, then yes, raising the back end will give it a slight rake.

It's the same as if you had bought a 1 inch level.

I took out the factory 1 1/4 rear block and put in the 2 3/4 block that came w the kit. Added 2 inches front and rear then.

Here's mine. Bilstein 6112's @ 2" setting in the front and 5100's in the rear with 2.25" halo lifts replacement block. Factory block was 1.25" so I gained an inch in the rear. Gave me 1.5" of rake for when I tow. Factory rake on my truck was 2.5" Halo makes a variety of different sizes too.

I believe the top setting on the 6112's is 2.0" and the top setting on the 5100's is 2.1".

Basically did the same as dhmcfadin except went with 2.5" Halo rear block on my '18 XLT.

My $0.02: blocks are an OK, cheap solution. A full-length add-a-leaf or airbags are better. Blocks are strictly cosmetic. An AAL or bags improve performance under load. I've noticed no ill effects (e.g., in ride quality) after installing my leafs.

I removed the stock cast 1-1/4" blocks and added 1" poly blocks back in. Click on the build thread in my signature for measurements of height and rake in various configurations.
