Mike, I see a pic of your truck on your profile.. Looks very nice! Do you have any other pics? What size tires are you running? Sorry if this was previously covered somewhere.

Yeah I have different tires than my profilie pic In that pic I had 295-60-20 Nitto Terra Grapplers - I've got 295-55-20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers - very happy with them.

Little spendy but they look awesome and are quiet on the freeway.

Personally I think the tires look a little small in the pics height wise but look great in person. Very happy with them.

Those ridge grapplers look great! I'm in between getting the bfg ko2 285/65r20 and those ridge grapplers 295/60r20..

Just FYI I had 295/60/20 Terra Grapplers on before these and it would rub on the UCA at 90% lock. I switched to the 295-55-20 and don't get the rub.

There's a guy on here somewhere who put 35x11.5x20 ridge grapplers on and they looked awesome. That would be similar in size to the 285/65/20 k02's.

Personally I really like the look of the Ridge Grapplers. They are a fuel econ killer as probably any heavier LT tire is going to be. There are a lot of people on here who love the K02's too - They were also on my list.

At the end of the day it came down to a couple of things for me:

1. I'm not taking it off road this is strictly for looks and I liked the look of the ridge grapplers better (personal preference only)

2. I don't drive a lot of miles and don't care about fuel econ

3. It was a lot cheaper for me to get the ridge grapplers - I paid about $1100 for 4 of them and at the time the K02's in a similar size were a couple of hundred bucks more.

Hope it works out for you.

Well I appreciate your input! I'll have to post some pics when I make my decision and finally get mine set up. I'm also doing away with the stock wheels and going with a 20x9 +18 offset.. Not sure if that helps or hurts with the rubbing issue.

Thanks - I got the ridge grapplers on ebay and had a local tire shop install them for me - $10 or $15 a tire. Saved me a couple of hundred bucks on buying them at discount tire.

Quick search on eBay shows the Ridge Grapplers for like $325 a tire and the K02's at about $400 in the sizes you were looking at. Not recommending one over the other as I haven't driven the k02 and like I said that tire has a huge following and lots of people happy with it.

That should help - I was looking at some fuel vapors that were +20 which is similar.

Stock wheels are +44...offset in a nutshell is where the lugs are installed versus the center of the wheel. 0 offset is dead center. Positive offset pushes the mounting area towards the outside and negative offset moves the mounting area in.

Positive offset will bring the tires farther into the wheel well and negative pushes them out so your tires will be sticking out 26mm farther than stock wheels. But they will be wider also. 26mm is about an inch.

If you're a visual person here is an explanation of offset in pics.

The tire itself will fit however I'm not 100% on you being able to go that wide on the 18" rim - If I remember right they aren't as wide as the 20" rims...maybe 7.5" vs 8.5"
I have stock 18's. Good thing I checked! So I want an 18x9 with 5 inch backspacing then?

I am looking at getting these in 35/11.5/20's. What kind of mileage drop are you experiencing? Like you I don't put a lot of miles on my truck and the majority of those are city.
Thanks
