Toe will be out and has to be adjusted.... the dealer told me that my camber was within spec.

The only thing adjustable on these trucks is the toe. You have to buy a camber/caster kit if you go too high. With 2.5" of lift I would buy it just to get a closer to perfect alignment. "In spec" and "good enough for me" are two different things. I don't like looking at my truck and being able to visually see positive camber.

So I'm curious do you have to get the caster/camber kit when you had it aligned?

The reason I ask is cause I just installed a ready lift 2" level kit and the dealership just set the toe and told me I have to buy a caster/camber kit that cost $328 parts and labor. But I haven't heard of anyone else needing this.

To get it aligned 100% correctly, yes....... but when I installed a 2.5 leveling kit on my 05' I only had the toe adjusted and ran the tires 35k miles..... no uneven wear and the tires had another 30k miles left in them.

I did a 2" Auto spring level, Fit 295/70 r18's on factory wheels. No rubbing issues. Still has a little rake so with a load you wont look lower in the back.

I would say that is the stealership just trying to get more money from you. I just put a 2" level in my truck then went and got taller/wider tires then immediately took it in for an alignment. I figured my camber would be messed up but all I need was a slight toe adjustment. Everything else was within tolerances. It rides smooth and doesn't pull to either side.

I just had a 2.5" motofab leveling kit installed and I'm also going to be getting 285/65/18 BFG KO2s, they are on order and are suppose to be in early next week. I'll post my pics, as soon as I get them on.
