Default LED Headlight adjustment

Okay, I installed the Rancho QuickLift's this past Friday. Needless to say I'm pretty pissed at a local shop as they said the installed a 2" spacer to level the front - once the strut assemblies we down, they simply put a 1 inch spacer on. No wonder I didn't see a marked improvement on leveling. Perfect level now witht e Rancho.

Anyway, I need to lower the low beams (LED) a couple of inches but from what I've read, some say clockwise lowers while others say counter clockwise to lower. I have a 2018 so wondering if anyone else has done this and which way it went. Is it clockwise/counter clockwise from the front of the headlight assembly or from the backside of the assembly?

The owners manual is useless as all it tells you is to turn the adjustment **** on way or the other to raise/lower the beam.

Appreciate some input.

When I adjusted mine I didn't even pay attention to what direction I was turning. Marked off 25 feet in front of a wall, measured the middle of the headlight projector, put a piece of tape on the wall 2 inches shorter than my measurement and turned the screw until the top of the beam was on the tape.

This is what I'm hoping to avoid - there are many that have said they turned it one way and it went up so I went the other way. I'd like to know which way is correct so I can make a couple of turns and be done.

I just have the standard crappy lights but do have a 2" level on the front. This is what I did.

Lower - Clockwise
Higher - Counter-Clockwise

20 turns clockwise (down) after 2" level put it back close to stock.

I tried to lower my LEDs (clockwise) and they wouldn't go any lower than where they were set from the factory.

Clockwise from facing the headlight (bumper) or clockwise from the back of the housing?

From standing in front of the headlight and looking at your engine. Hope it's the same for ya.

If you aim your headlights at a wall, just start turning the screw. If the beam starts going up, turn the screw the other way.
