Lightbulb LED conversion kit while having DRL's

Hey guys.

I'm from Canada where having DRL's is the law. I drive a 2015 F-150 XLT, XTR. I'm wanting to convert my H11 low-beam bulbs (which are also my DRL bulbs) to some nice and bright LED's. I've been searching and can't really get a definitive answer here..? What does one have to get/install in order to use LED's as my main light source. I've seen the whole "CAN-bus error free" things. Is this what I will be needing or is there something different??? Thanks for the input!

Get the kits from xenondepot, I just received mine today and I will be installing them probably tomorrow. From what I've read you don't need either CAN bus or DLR options, only get the kits. By the way, the H11 is the HIGH bulb.

Thanks for the info however the H11 is the low-beam and the high-beam is a 9005 on my model.

I think he meant make sure you replace the correct bulb. H11 low beam is the higher bulb, while the 9005 high beam is the lower bulb.

I ended up buying the H11 LED conversion kit from Xenondepot.com. Thanks for the information and I'll update once installed.

They work great. You won't have a problem. I've replaced lights in three of my buddies trucks here in Edmonton and Dawson Creek BC

Alright guys. The LED's I purchased from xenondepot.com are awesome! They feel/appear to be a high quality product. They were also an OEM fit pretty much. It didn't take any muscle or tinkering to put them in.. They also work 100% with the DRL's without the CANbus system. The lights look awesome and I highly recommend this product.
