You would want a Lariat with the Sport package in that case, and the optional 20" 6 spoke painted wheels. Do you want a SuperCab or SuperCrew?

Xlt sport and have them add leather. Will save you a lot of money from latiat to xlt, plus you get all of the rebates that accompany an xlt.

Just foor for thoughr.

Here's my XLT Sport with added leather. I got it from my dealer for $800.

Don't forget you can get the truck without the sport OR the chrome package. I got a 501A Lariat (ruby red 2 tone) with neither package and the only chrome I have is on my front bumper. (Plan on replacing that with a platinum grille) I didn't care for the sport grille, reminded me of base model xl's in older generations.

Is that OEM leather that the dealer added for $800?

Yes! But you may have to fight for it. I had a remarkably hard time telling the dealers I didn't want an appearance package because they ask "Do you want chrome or sport?" When the answer was "neither", they didn't know what to do. I think I confused matters when I said I liked the chrome grille because the salesmen stopped hearing after I used the word "chrome".

I ended up with a chrome package just because the other features on the truck were what I wanted. I'll probably change out the mirror caps because that's where I think the chrome package goes over the top. I needed step boards anyway, so the chrome package didn't add much cost.

BTW, that leather looks great on the XLT! Have you been in a Lariat to compare the quality to the OE leather?
