Lead Foot
Will definitely have to take a look at it, but thanks for all the answers. I am also looking at a Blue Jeans/Black Lariat with all the options I want on it. Will see if it is still there when I pull the trigger....
I ordered a Lead Foot Lariat SCrew at the beginning of February. Should be here in 2-3 more weeks. I cannot wait.
I really like the colour. It looks different in different light, hides dirt, and black trim and accessories just work with it. I like that you don’t see many of them. My current truck is Tuxedo Black. It looks amazing if I wash it and then park it and stare at it. The tire splatter from driving out of the car wash is maddening.
Anyhow, it is good to have a couple colours you like. I just about had them submit the order for a race red. The colour was the last decision I made on the order sheet.

Hhhmmm, I run mine through the dreaded automatic (brush) car wash almost daily (I have a monthly plan, $29 a month for unlimited deluxe washes with hot wax, tire shine etc). I've only had it a few months but probably 30 washes later, no sign of any paint issues. Having said that, I drive it, so I expect some stone chips, scratches, whatever.
Vehicle colors are strictly a personal preference just as there are Chevy fans, Mopar fans, Ford fans, Euro fans and rice burner fans.
When i first saw a lead footed truck in the dealer's lot, my first impression was a primer coat getting ready for a repaint.
Having said that, i will say in that truck's defense, it was in need of a serious wash and waxing.
IMHO, out of all the colors, lead foot has the most industrial, rugged, no-nonsense look.
My color preferences are also in the silver to gray area.
I ended up with magnetic and never looked back.
