Default Keys

Hopefully my question doesn’t sound crazy. I’d like to know from those with a Lariat or above with push button start if you have another key for the door, console, glove box and spare tire access beside the emergency key inside the remote.
Thanks

Yes. I got 2 fobs and a separate key with plastic head. The key opens the door, glove box, centre console, and spare tire crank.

What I don't get was keys to the BoxLink cleats. I got them from a local locksmith.

Bought mine used, so I only got the keys that were inside the keyfob. I also have a 2016, and always keep my glovebox locked and it was a pita to always take apart the keyfob to access the keyblade. If you have a 15-17 where you need to take apart the keyfob to get to the physical keyblade to use on the door/glovebox, console, etc... you can just do what I did... which was order 18+ keyfob where the keyblade slides out the bottom. You can find them for $65 ish on ebay or amazon. I ordered 2 of the new style keyfob and have since tossed the 2 originals in the closet for backup only.

My 16 Platinum also has a regular key, and the fobs have a key inside as well.

I bought 2 more Fobs on eBay and programmed them. You want to make spares while you still have 2 fobs. If you get down to one fob, you can't reprogram new ones.

I didn't have the keys cut on the new fobs since I never use the keys. If I ever lose one of the fobs, I will likely get them cut.

So all functions were programmable? Yes I have 2 remotes. And what was the cost to have the keys cut?

I bought one of these on /Ebay and had the dealer cut it for me so it is not only a a spare for the glove box and stuff it is also has the rfid programmed so its an emergency key to start the truck as well. Granted mine is an XLT hence the starting feature with this key but the large head makes locking and unlocking the spare lock very easy.
