I was able to lock the door with an extra keyfob in the truck and using the sensor with another keyfob in my pocket. I did that several times.

I still would not leave an extra keyfob with batteries in the truck. No way No how. But that's me.... You all can do what you want it's your truck.

 

I don't think I could sleep well leaving one in there either. Insurance claim may not go so well for someone leaving a fob in & truck ends up getting ripped off.
