Is it possible to retrofit my 2016 F150 XLT with keyless ignition, or it that too costly to even consider?

 

Cheapest way would probably be to trade up to a new Lariat 502A. And they will throw in the LED headlights for free..

 

Not sure how to do it with Ford Oem parts but I had looked at advanced keys in the past. It gives you push button start and proximity keyless entry. I want to say it was between $400-500 plus install. I read mixed reviews on it but most were positive.

 

Probably not.....my truck is only 4 weeks old. I can see thousands of dollars going down the drain.

One reason I was thinking of doing this is that the ignition switch feels as if it was made by Fisher Price. I suppose it is a Ford thing.

That is an impressive kit, first one I have seen with a provided handle that locks and unlocks. I will email the manufacturer to see if they have a 2015 kit.

Can't find anything on Google about the manufacturer, can't even find a website. Only Amazon comes up.

 

For what its worth too that price isn't bad at all. I'd expect something like this to go for $2000.
