Default Keyless entry master code question.

In my handbook package (the black book pouch) there is a "master code for keyless keypad entry. I do not have power locks, nor do I have the keypad on the truck, Is this a key code for locksmiths also to use to make a key if needed?

The vin on the sticker in the pouch matches my truck but just found it odd that one of these were included. Also was included was books for sync/sirius which again, my truck doesnt have.

Just take the truck to your dealer you have built a relationship with and they will probably plug it in and retrieve the code for no charge.

There is a keyless code included with every vehicle. If you don't have power locks then disregard it, it's of no benefit to you. If you want the key code go to the service department and have them get it for you.

Correct...the code on the plastic credit card looking card in the owner's manual pouch is a keyless entry keypad which will be worthless to him. You usually get a key code for cutting an extra key on a key chain tag but if you don't have it you can stop by the dealership's service department and have the get the code for you. I believe they are still requiring a copy of your drivers license to do so.

The number is coded to the BSM. Your vehicle has the module regardless of the feature set.
