Default Keyless entry code.

Do they still hide the door code somewhere in these trucks?
For whatever reason I didn't get my card and my salesman is dragging his feet getting back to me.

On newer models it can be displayed in the message center. You do need both keys to do it. With traditional keys :

If yours is keyless do this

Amazing, you just saved me an hour of labor at the dealership or tearing apart my console neither of which i really wanted to do.

Just FYI the "cradle" is located below the HVAC controls, by the USB ports. Remove the rubber tray liner and its right there. Worked like a charm after I found that. I owe you a beer.

Funny. I did this last night. Note that the keys go in the pocket with the Ford symbol facing up.

Well, just an fyi. The 2018's don't have the slot to hide the fob or use that to get your code.
There's also no little sleeve to insert it anywhere if the battery is low.
I'm going to have to remove the passenger kick panel I guess.

My salesman did finally call me back and then gave me the wrong code.

It is my 4th vehicle with the keyless, so I do know how it works. In case someone is wondering.

That sucks masitile. If its a new truck I would make the dealership pull the code electronically before I ripped out the kick pannel. Mine said it would be $50 to do it, but if they never provided the code in the first place I would expect it to cost zero dollars.

I know it.. Pain in *****.

They still owe me a spray in liner. That's scheduled for next week, so I'll be taking that 45 minute ride anyways.

It's amazing how dependent I got with the keyless, just running into the store or anything since my 2005.
I did set the locks, not to autolock for now and I'll just have to remember to grab the fob.

First world problems...

How much of a PIA is this to add to a truck not equipped?
