Keyless entry code.
Well, just an fyi. The 2018's don't have the slot to hide the fob or use that to get your code.
There's also no little sleeve to insert it anywhere if the battery is low.
I'm going to have to remove the passenger kick panel I guess.
My salesman did finally call me back and then gave me the wrong code.
It is my 4th vehicle with the keyless, so I do know how it works. In case someone is wondering.

Page 167 of your owner's manual http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Fo...US_05_2017.pdf . The backup slot is under the rubber liner of the cupholder if you have the console or the back of the inside of the armrest if you have the bench seat. All vehicles with push button start has a way to start the vehicle if the battery in the fob is dead.
If you were local sir, I would you a few rounds at least.
So I took out the bottom of the cup holder (actually as soon as I touched it, it lifted right up. and sure as **** it was there.
Wonder what made them choose a different spot.
Did the key swap and the code popped right up. I've had the same personal code for 13 years and I'm so used to leaving the keys in it. The truck didn't feel like mine not having those 5 simple numbers.
Now thanks to you everything is right in my truck world, and now it finally feels like mine.
Minor inconvenience in comparison to the big picture, but old habits are hard to break.
I can relax now..
Thanks again,
John.
