Default Keyless entry

I bought a used 2018 F150 XLT. It has the keyless code entry feature. The book says the factory code was given to the original owner on a wallet card. I do not have this card and no way of getting it. How can I reset the code so that I can use the keyless entry feature?

Search Youtube. There are plenty of vidoes showing how to retrieve it. It's using the truck menu system....videos walk through how to do it.

If you have the owners manual, the key code wallet card may still be in the manual packet (it was in my used 2016 I got a few months ago).
Or look in the owners manual for the how-to, if you have the manual or download a PDF manual if you know how.

Edit: or see the video above that was posted before I got to writing this post.

You cannot reset it. It is permanent. You can set your own additional code.

If you don't have 2 fobs, it should also be written on the back of the fuse panel. It's pretty tight in there, so you may have to remove some trim to see it. There are also videos on the tubes that show the location.

^^^AS ABOVE^^^
Try this....... remove the cover only of the fuse panel @ passenger right foot
basically @ top of the actual fuse panel & pointing back is a white label with the 5 #'s of your factory key code
you can try a take a picture with your cell phone camera....remember # points towards the back

Failing above just remove that whole plastic kick panel & you will see it !!!!
you have to get your face almost touching the carpet & look about where that plastic panel angles towards the door pillar @ the top of the fuse panel

That fuse panel is actually the BCM (Body Control Module).

If you have forscan you can retrieve the master code electronically with only 1 fob. The pids are on the bcm and are labeled KEYCODE-1stD through KEYCODE-5thD. Like others have said, the master code cannot be changed but you can use that code to set an additional personal code.

This may or may not work...Ford has locked this out of newer BCMs. I can't even use IDS to retrieve some now thanks to illegal software.
