Considering this offer...

'16 XLT CrewCab, Ruby Red, 2.7EB/3.55 Locker, 36gal tank, Trailer Tow, Outlets, and XLT Sport package.

MSRP - $47375 (including delivery)
Invoice - $42947
Dealer Discounts - $6355
Rebates - $5050 (I get everything except for the 1st responder or FMC Credit)
Final Price - $36,070
MD Tax - $2485
Fees - $671

By my calculations, that's $1827 under invoice, and over $11,300 off MSRP.

What do you guys think? There is also a Black on equipped exactly the same that I could opt for that would cut all prices by $395... (Ruby Red Upcharge) .
Total Out-the-door price: 39,116

Buy it. I'd pay that.

Sucks on that dealer fee though. May as well say 10,800 under msrp.

I just double checked and all the advertised pricing has dropped by $1500... so the XLT Rebate add-on just lowered these numbers an additional 1500. I may now opt for a different truck with 302A, since my budget will accept it.

Sure as long as you aren't getting hosed on a trade-in...

No trade-in. Selling my 04 Expedition on my own and will save $1000-1500.

Never hurts to ask for a Smart Vincent report. Smart Vincent is a report that the dealer can print out upon request that shows every incentive that your vehicle qualifies for. There have occasionally been dealers (hopefully not yours) that keep some rebates for themselves.

Not sure how to do all the figuring, and it's too late to re-deal, but did I do alright? Be honest.

My truck is: 2016 XLT Screw, 302a, 6.5 bed, 3.5 eco, Race Red, Sport SE, max tow, tow mirrors, nav, 35 gal tank

I am extremely happy with my truck so good deal or not, I got exactly what I wanted. I've changed the wheels, lowered rear w/longer shackles, helwig rear sway bar, wheel well liners, mud flaps, bug shield, window visors, spray in bed liner and undercover bed cover. Also removed sport stickers and eco door badges.

Let me know how I did, I can take it.
Were those wheels red accented when you bought them, or did you have them painted with the grille?

Purchased early Sept. in Texas.

2016 Platinum (5.0, 4x4, 701A, Tow, FX4, Moonroof, 36g, Park Assist, White Plat Metallic)

MSRP: $62,920
Dest/Delivery: $1,195
Package Discount: $1,000
Total MSRP: $63,115

Dealer Dis'd Price: $55,039
Ford Rebates: $3,500
Total Price: $51,539 +TTL

Other info

Tax (after trade): $721
Dealer Tax: $98
Title/Ins/Reg: $190
Doc Fee: $150

OTD: $53,261

This was also on a dealer trade since I preferred the Brunello interior.

Followed the advise on this thread, used a high volume dealer and internet sales manager. Did not require hours of negotiating, great experience, no pressure. I never set foot on the lot and negotiated everything via email, except a 5 minute conversation with the finance person - truck was delivered to my home. Opted for the rebates instead of 0% and have my credit union ready for refinancing at 1.8% as soon as I receive the paperwork.

Thanks to all who have contributed to this thread. I've read most of the comments and have learned a lot.
