No idea, but one of the plan gurus on here could tell ya. Honestly I wouldn't put all my eggs in one basket with the z plan. Lots of people here get better prices than z plan, myself included. Probably depends on how many dealers are in your market, the more dealers the more competitive the prices. The dealer I go to is all about volume.

He's absolutely right. You can easily beat plan prices if you do your research and are prepared to pay a certain price, or walk out. I was looking into using a plan, but wanted to negotiate upfront without letting them know in was a plan eligible. I ended up 3200 BELOW a plan after taxes tags and processing. Sometimes plan pricing is best, but when dealers are moving truck after truck and really doing volume, they can bend some rules and make things work In the consumers favor as it did in my case. I knew what I wanted, and what I would pay. I went in and put it out on the table. They knew I would buy if it was right, and that I had some my research. They were 5600 off from what i wanted to pay at the start, and by the end they had met me and thrown some extras in. They may have lost some money on the truck. But in the long run incentives from ford for the volume they're selling they will make their nut back.

I bought mine on the 11th of May, on a Wednesday evening. Nothing special about the day, the weather, or anything else that people think makes it a magical time to buy. The key to getting a good deal is doing your research and knowing what your market is, being knowledgeable about the EXACT truck you're trying to deal on, and having the control to walk out if you do not get the deal you are looking for. Too many people today play the monthly payment game, or try to get the dealer to waver on certain fees. It shouldn't matter if they're charging a processing fee, or a destination fee, or a fee to donate to save the starving children...as long as the final OTD price is what you want, you've won the 'game.' Sticking to your guns goes a long way.
