Just Do It
This thread is not for most of you on the Forum ... but those (like me) that lurk reading the treads trying to decide rather to pull the trigger on a new purchase or not.
I read these post until I was almost blind. In general, it helped but often I left more confused than when I started.
I finally did put the cash down and drove one out the door. I don't have that many miles on it but I have to tell you, every drive makes me smile and as soon as it is parked I can't wait for the next trip.
Reading these post will make you question the quality of a 150. I have only had it for a few weeks, but I can say as of now there is not a button, ****, dial or switch that is not perfect. Not only do I not hear a squeak or rattle, but I actually hear NOTHING when driving it. It is scary quiet. It makes my wife's accord seem noisy (which is hard to do).
Finally, you read endless debates on the EB vs 5.0. Time will tell on the longevity of the EB, but I can tell you this ... it is impossible not to smile when you push on the accelerator of an EB. It is simply fun.
So just do it and enjoy the best selling vehicle in the country.

I've got 42,000 miles on my 16 and the truck has been great. Enjoy your truck, you made a good choice!

Same here. after 22k miles the only thing I miss is my manual trans.
This applies to pretty much every online forum. The majority of people don't ask for help with a perfectly working truck. They ask about problems. So the majority of posts are going to be about problem vehicles.

I could not agree more! Even though there are quite a few things I'd change knowing what I know now, I'm still extremely happy with my truck.
My biggest complaint that I'll never fix, which is really just more of a "I wish I had gotten", is my 3.31 gears. They are fine with stock tires, but the weight of my 35's make then less desirable. Any noticeable incline above 70-75 MPH will make my truck shift into 5th to keep speed, it can be irritating. It's surprising how many 4wd truck have 3.31's, but I'd look for 3.55's at a minimum, if not 3.73's. Even if you never upgrade tire sizes, you'll be happy with that extra pep.

I love POSITIVE stories on here.... Thanks OP! My first 5000 miles have been trouble free, and a great ride! Love the EB.
