You've now posted multiple responses on behalf of the OP. I am well aware of public opinion and didn't ask you for commentary on what works or doesn't work. Why do you continue to make more out of this question than was intended? Please allow the OP to answer a very simple question: "Have you had the latest CSP performed?"

A simple Yes or No from the OP will answer my question

OP, why you swearing off all American made vehicles in general on account of a problem with one Ford Motor Company product?

Is it that door won't latch at all or just doesn't shut perfectly flush to the cab body?

My friend (2017) and I (2018) both had the recall performed. His dealership said "yeah this probably won't work" , which it didn't.
My dealership said there was 2 fixes for it. 1 for northern states and 1 for southern states.Living in Michigan I obviously received
the "northern state" fix. Mine worked....so far. That's my experience anyway

What they told you is not entirely accurate...

There was a recall (17S33) and now 2 different CSPs 18N03 & 19N06 based on the production date of the vehicle.

I would also be upset if my doors had the issue, which they don't. Ford has an Engineering/Design issue that one would think would be easy to solve. It must not be so easy since it hasn't been fixed since 2015 model year, or they aren't serious about fixing it (which I personally doubt). Water intrusion can be very difficult to resolve. Calling the truck junk just might be a little melodramatic....

I lemon law my 2016 for same issue. Perhaps you can do the same. Ford took care of me and I went from an XLT to a lariat special order for peanuts. My 16 was almost paid off at the time of the lemon law so now I own my 18 lariat outright.

So far my 18 unaffected my doors, or warped dash. Maybe it’s a “good one.” If it’s not, who cares, I’ll lemon law this one, cash out my 50k and go buy something else.

Good luck

I've only had my F-150 for a couple of months now and I haven't experienced this issue yet - hopefully won't. I have had other cars through the years that had frozen locks when the weather suddenly changed from wet to freezing over night. I was always able to poor a glass of warm water over the lock mechanism and get into the car. Does this work on the F-150? Has anyone tried it? Just wondering in case I might need a fix some morning.

Sorry about the abrupt post last night guys and gals. I was pretty pissed off after having a drive from Green Bay to Appleton Wisconsin holding my driver's door shut. I have had both fixes done at the dealership. Part of this may be my fault due to the fact that I wash my truck every day no matter what the weather is to keep the salt off of it. What really ticks me off is that I never had this issue with any other vehicles. This is one of the most expensive vehicle's I have bought in my life and has been the most problematic. And coming from driving BMWs and Volvos that says a lot. I will be contacting the dealership tomorrow morning to see if we can address the issue further. Thank you for all of the replies and once again sorry for my abrupt post.
