Issues with Sync
I own a 2015 f150 301A package and recently had the cd unit replaced in my pickup and now my sync no longer recognizes my Iphone 7 and also when you push the sync prompt button on the steering wheel there is no sync voice telling me what to do. I've tried the master reset and updating it but still nothing. I even went online to "sync my ride" and it says there i an update available for my truck but after downloading on a usb stick and pluging it in to my usb port nothing will load, any ideas out there what may be my issue?
Sounds like they may have left something disconnected when they replaced your CD player. My sync button doesn't have a voice either, but that's because I turned the "advanced user" setting or whatever it's called on.
You may be in for another trip to the dealer. But I would try eliminating your phone as the primary issue by connecting to another phone via bluetooth. I haven't tried updating sync, so I can't speak to possible complications in that process.

They probably replaced your ACM. You may need to either take it to the dealer or use forscan to program your ACM back to your built-in data. There is a link out there to get your old built-in data to help you out.
I did a 4'' to 8'' SYNC 3 conversion and the voice and sound went out after using the steering wheel buttons. I then made some changes using forscan on my ACM and everything worked properly again.
I would vote for dealer though since they did the change and they should fix it. (Assuming you had it replaced at the dealer)
