The door pulls come off by pulling hard. It takes a LOT of force. I replaced mine and I am very careful with what I have in my hand while opening/closing. The replacements scratch very easy. I would probably paint them.

Those exact ones are not listed on eBay anymore unfortunately...just checked my order history but there are a few other options with that same type of cover

I'd opt for painting, versus replacing, due to cost. The door pulls are painted from the factory, if I recall from installing mine. I replaced them, as I have an STX and the interior touch points were too hard to live with. When these get sad looking, I'll lightly sand and paint them. As stated earlier, painting them also gives you some leeway to customize the job. Not sure I'd agonize over the actual OEM paint codes for the interior, as you can probably find something off the shelf that would suffice. I think there is another thread on here where someone was looking for the OEM trim color code (if it exists) so they could get paint made. Not sure if that ever produced fruit.
