Installing Sync on a XLT without Sync
Bought a used 2017 XLT last week. Couldn't connect my phone through bluetooth on the way home. Long story short, as confirmed by Ford customer service, my truck never had the Sync system installed. So... I'm looking to see about installing Sync on a truck with no Sync. Anyone have experience doing this or know anything about it? Looks like this is the Sync module part #ES7Z-14D212-DA. I have the 4.3" screen and I'm not sure if that's the same part.
If anyone knows the location of the Sync module... I'm thinking I should check to see if it's really not even there. Any help would be appreciated.

ok, I'm assuming you've tried to pair your phone the way it says in the owners manual? It's not an automatic thing, and if there's a phone previously paired then you need to remove it and add yours and set it as primary. http://cdn.dealereprocess.com/cdn/se.../2017-f150.pdf page 428 if you need to look it up.

I got your vin via PM and OASIS clearly shows your vehicle has base SYNC system.
I would suggest taking it back to the dealer (assuming they are a Ford dealer) and let them look into it. You bought it from them and they should be aware of what they are selling and being able to help you out.
