No idea what engine was in it, but I saw a 15+ F150 leave a gas station the other day, and it sounded like a 2004 Gran Prix.

I have a 2.7 Ecoboost. I don't wish I had gotten the 5.0 V8. Not once.

I had a 2013 with the 5.0 , a 2014 with the 5.0 and I had custom exhaust on it. Yes is sounded incredible and it hauled some a**. Now I have a 2016 with the 2.7 ecoboost. Performance wise , I think the ecoboost pulls off the line harder and power is instant. Both 5.0's liked to be higher in the rpm's for power. I miss the exhaust note from the 5.0 but I love the mileage and instant power from the ecoboost.

There are no forecasts showing this happening anytime soon. Most analysts thing $3, or slightly above, is possible.

I have the 3.5L EB. My buddies didn't say a word once I stomped on the gas. Just saying.

So if I got a 2.7 with a payload package I would essentially be able to tow the same amount but get the better mileage. Just something to think about.
If you put everything but your passengers into the trailer, you can get close. I did the math and with the Toy Hauler I was buying, by putting most of the cargo in the toy hauler travel trailer, I was under my max payload by quite a bit.

The grass always seems better on the other side. Just be happy with what you have, as you have an excellent motor.
