Hold Codes?? Any help with this??
Funny a rep hasn't noticed this yet ... Seems like a lot of sour people maybe they should be finding some answers . I have also noticed a common trend in the east coast having the most issues . I for one will be making sure others know about all this , I guess the only unknown in my story and how I tell it will be weather or not they do anything to make sure there customer are happy and provide something for the delays and lack of transparency / communication . I will eventually find and contact the regional manager around me and talk to him( no one seems to want to give that information out ) . For a company built on service , there should a better local contact than a dealership
Yer right it IS just a truck... and as such, not worth getting this agitated over. Yer dealer my have shorted his estimate - mine said at least 8-10, perhaps longer. And more than a few folks have waited far, FAR longer than you. Example - this hyur feller - ah don't see no histrionics evident neither, lol: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/wait-...2/#post4138762 Also realize that they are under no obligation to expose internal process changes or anomalies - nothing in their contractual verbiage speaks to that. Yep - you do NOT own it yet. Additionally - are you not aware of the current lead time delay for extended tanks? It's been discussed - a LOT. So - being self-informed does hep with the ol' BP. And it hep ye manage ye expectations. You nailed yer choice; wait or walk. It's that simple. Not gonna change a single solitary thing at the end of the day - for anyone other than yeseff. It's not gonna engender a massive exodus of frustrated would-be owners to seek solace and free kleenex at a Doodge er Chebbie dealership. Most appear to me as having a smidge of tolerance and patience... and perhaps something to keep them otherwise occupied. That's whut me hobbies be fer me - and me 'honey-do' list, lol. Bottom line - yer not singularly special or entitled - so don't demand that Ford treat you as such. There is no weapon being held to ye head. Rant noted.
PS - just so you know, yer Sexist remark concerning our very nice Ford Service reps is Report-worthy. There is NO Place for that offensive nonsense here.
I am still taking it with a grain of salt for now. Dealer told me 6-8 weeks, it is 7 today...totally not a problem, one showed up in 6 weeks, ok fine, what is going on with mine who knows, ok fine. If I am still here come 4 weeks from now something else will be happening, as I said I sold my vehicle.....stupid me, but I will need a vehicle soon.
Communication is key. I can understand, and plan around, delays if I know WTF is going on and when the real ETA is.
In this instance, I have to decide on putting more money into fixing a current truck to pass NYS inspection next month (and hoping they'll give me more for trade after), or do the bare minimum to meet legal requirements until I can unload it. I will also have jobs coming up that require towing a tractor that I would prefer to do with a more capable and safer truck.
So I have both of those issues to contend with while my orders sits, unmoving, for going on 7 weeks.
Also, I'm leaving Toyota due to their lack of customer service and reliability. Lack of service and communication from Ford makes me question switching sides to them. I could just as easily take my business elsewhere and pay less for a truck.
I'm happy to wait, if that means more issues are being worked out. However not knowing what's being done makes me want to ask for my deposit back, and cancel the order.

I cant speak for anyone else but Ford has never even told me it would be delayed, but I just looked & its not in my driveway.
Exactly! It took me probably a dozen emails, 2 dozen phone calls, and 6 days to get the half assed answer I got...and that still didn't include a new ETA.
With a all the body panel issues I've been seeing posts about I would guess they have an issue with getting the main body square or something like that.. they won't disclose of they have found a major problem in production they don't want to scare people from ordering.
I don't think there is one but If there was a functional issue holding up our trucks, there is no way in hell they would tell anybody what it was. Especially somebody in this sewing circle we have going here. I'm on day 104 and my truck is still in Dearborn. I'm annoyed but I'll make it...
