Your truck is probably going into electrical limp mode because it knows something isn't right. If you reconnect the halogen bulbs for everywhere except the LEDs, it will probably stop doing that.

I'm sure oncoming drivers will appreciate that.

The "flood light" for oncoming traffic is not bad at all. Looks just like a halogen just white and a tiny bit brighter. I hate drivers that put in HID's and don't adjust the levels. I will look out for that. Also there is a new headlight kit for the 2015-16 F150 just released with projectors. Might go that route also. The blinding halogen housing is the reason I didn't go with LED headlights, they were all over the place as if I had high beams on. These are really good, of course projectors would be better but I don't want to hack up my lights just now.

Back to the Parking Light Led issue. Anybody have any idea why it's doing that? Electrical limp mode makes sense. But dang I've never had this issue with any other vehicle. Did y'all see the new possible brake recall as well? Sucks!!!

This may have been the first vehicle you've owned that behaves this way when it detects a problem.

Please do a proper retrofit. Or at least get the motrimoto fogs, they're only $200 and actually have a cutoff. Fogs with HID's on the 15's are horrible and blinding. And judging from the tree and the garage across the street in your pic, there is no cutoff. You neighbor's entire garage door is lit up, meaning you'll be shining right into other drivers' eyes. I for one don't want to be that guy that everyone is pissed off at.

To get my hids working properly I had to use a relay harness and inline capacitor. That being said they are a nightmare when it comes to moisture, I have had noting but issues and am probably going with the XB LEDs.

Yea I think I'm just going to buy the whole aftermarket headlight with projectors. I don't want to be that guy and don't want to deal with all the wiring headache. But I still don't know why the parking light led's don't turn on
