I live in Atlantic Canada and it can be tough to get invoice but not impossible. Best thing is price shop competing dealers on same truck. They are extremely competitive with each other! You don't want price match, you want them to beat it! Before you know it your getting the price down pretty good. The 15's are moving like hot cakes so that makes it tough though

Don't worry about Costco discount, as they do a $1,000 factory rebate and another $4500 in manufacturers rebates for everyone ordering new. I did not dicker the price as they are still in demand and my dealer was not going any lower. I'm sure you could find lower if you shop around though.

Ford Canada can't/won't sell new trucks to the US citizens but if they would you could buy a $50,000 XLT for approx $31,000 in your money after our discounts........is that a good deal for an XLT????

Yea... We have 2 Ford Dealerships here in Fredericton on the same street! I've only been dealing with one of them. Might be time to have them battle it out haha!

Yeah, they weren't negotiating. I have been waiting over a month for my new truck as they are backlogged with orders, so not a good time to negotiate.

You live in Oakville and you paid MSRP minus discounts???? Wow I'm surprised considering you're close to both Eastgate and Erinwood Ford?

I got quoted at 37653$ I think it was. Give or take.
That was in Canada in Hamilton (EastGate). All I asked for was XLT Crew, 2.7 Eco, 4x4, bucket seats back up camera.

I didnt order yet. I think I am going to add heated mirrors and the spray in liner.

I had a bad experience with Eastgate when shopping for a Lincoln a few years ago, the guy laughed (with a sandwich hanging out of his mouth) at me when I said I wanted a 4 year old or newer MKX for under $22,000, so my grudge won't let me go back. I picked Kennedy as they were great when I bought my 2010 with no high pressure tactics. I can't be bothered to haggle for a few bucks. I could have got better price if I would have taken one they had on lot, but I wanted some custom options, so I guess I paid a little extra on this one.

Some of my extra cost is 6 1/2 box, so be ready for extra $$$ if you want that.

But really I wanted to show how a $43,000 price tag can quickly go up with options (if you don't have a trade in to bring it back down), plus that good old tax they add on.
