Default Hello everyone

I just picked up a 19 3.5 ecoboost screw with 14,000 miles. Coming from an 03 screw, this thing drives like a HUGE bitch but I love it. I am failing to find the newb section for this truck. There are a lot of things I need to do. I've already thrown on the new 285 Duratracs from my last truck. What are the must do mods? I know I want to get that harness piece to disable A.S.S (man is that stupid). How do you tune forescan? I could adjust for the larger tires. HUGE Bitch this thing is.

Must-do mod #1: quit calling your truck a "huge bitch".

I'm getting used to it. Still, has a much larger and disconnected from the road feel to it. She floats. They all float? She moves out really really quick without breaking a sweat. I've got no trailer hitch on this thing but I have tow mirrors?

Is there a way to figure out what it has and doesn't by VIN, or?

Your dealer should be able to produce a copy of the window sticker, if you ask nicely.
I don't know about "floating"... they are actually surprisingly stable, even at high speeds.
The trailer hitch could have been removed, or someone may have swapped the mirrors.

Default Window Sticker

Plug in your VIN above the "WINDOW STICKER" button.

Cool man! Congrats on the new truck.

Most Ford dealers are willing to print out a copy of the window sticker for you. Sales department will have access to it.

I'm guessing by no trailer hitch you mean no 2" receiver? Can be added for towing. Just bolts into the frame.

You might need to have the dealer install the trailer control module and brake booster if you want to pull a 7 pin trailer with brakes though. The regular 4 pin should work for light towing.

Congratulations on your new truck.

for the auto start stop - this is what I did. You can try this at your own risk.

if you look under the dash by the top of the brake pedal - to the left of the brake petal - you should see a white block with 3 plugs in it.

if you unplug the bottom plug it will disable the auto start stop.

this Plug has something to do With the trailer brake lights. So, if you ever tow or take it in for service, just plug the little plug back in.

there other ways to disable it. A jumper wire from behind the switch. Plug a trailer plug into the plug in the back of of the truck. You can buy and OBD II connector that disables it.

anyway. The cheapest, fastest way is to just unplug that little plug.

FOSCAN is awesome. You can videos on YouTube. I recommend Ricardo’s Workshop videos. You’ll need an OBD II scanner and laptop too.

good luck. And have fun.
