I have to correct my statement. I live on the audio screen. i actually press the temperature next to the home button to access the climate screen where I toggle the steering wheel heat. Never hit the home button until yesterday. And yes the steering wheel icon is there and can be toggled.

They did away with that in Sync 2 in an upgrade in early 2015... went to hard buttons only for the seats. I wish they would put a hard button on the steering column like my wife's X5...
