I activated it on the home screen with Forscan and it turns on & off with one touch(I don't have a climate screen).

It was not on the home screen in my early '18 Limited (9/17). After I updated my Sync to the newest version (3.0?), it is now on my home screen. Just one touch... no climate screen.

2018 3.5L Platinum Build date Aug 2018. Touch the home button at the top of the audio screen and touch the heated steering wheel switch in the upper left of the climate screen.

Yeah, it's a nice convenience, Pity I might live without it since I have some sort of an aversion to any kind of update ford usually does... Well I mostly just use it to turn off the heater anyway...

On the home screen don't you always have the steering wheel icon either when it's ON or OFF? Just curious 'cause you say you touch the home icon.

Memory serves me that I only see the steering wheel icon when the heat is on. Still a two button selection to turn on or off from the audio screen that I live on. Either Home button to turn on or Wheel button to turn off. Either selection takes me to the climate screen, where I toggle on/off.

If it helps, per the owner.ford site, I have the most current Sync3 version. JR3T-14G381-AM

Are you saying that on the '19s (I'm assuming yours are '19s) if you touch the same icon on the home screen it will activate/deactivate without sending you to the climate screen?

^^ Is this last move what Forscan enables?
Yes. I have a '17 and it is located on the home screen when the engine is running.

No Heated/Cooled Seats next to it? Why would they put the wheel and not the seats?
