buttons
I saw a few pages back that people were talking about the "steering wheel" and the "+/- " buttons on the Raptor wheel. There was some back and forth and using different terms. Has anyone confirmed what the buttons do exactly? From what I got out of the posts the button that has the "steering wheel" on it controls steering "feel" and the +/- buttons control drive mode i.e. sand, mud, snow etc. I thought I would ask if this is in fact what they are for, is it possible to use the +/- buttons to control the drive mode in our trucks. I know the 16's and older only had tow & sport mode but the 17's and up have a few different drive modes. could those be wired up on the 17 and up to engage those modes? Also can the "steering wheel" button be used to add steering feel if we added the module (if there is one) and changed programming?

Totally worth it. Especially since I already had the wheel for it.
Only issue outstanding is what temperature to leave it at. I've got it at 92 currently, but it seems a little warm for my taste. Will probably take it down another notch and try that.

I finished the mod last week. Wanted to say thank you to Jeff for write up 2016BoostedGreyGoose for the harness. Those two pieces together made the mode easy.
Harness has the factory look, all connectors are labeled and snap into place easily. Heck, I spent more time thinking how to remove the three screw under the steering wheel than installing the harness. The screws on my 2016 XLT were 5.5mm - I can hardly imagine a more weird size for the IS truck. But anyways. The mod is totally worth it, the harness is a great piece of the mod and well worth the money for those who want OEM look and quality, and save a lot of time and efforts during installation. I love my new wheel!

I already had the steering wheel. If you need a new wheel, you’re probably talking about $600-something if you buy the harness. If you make it yourself, youd save a few bucks.

i bought the control module and clock spring from Tasca. They’re relatively cheap. BoostedGreyGoose sold me the harness. It was the most expensive part, but totally worth it for the convenience.

I may have missed it in the thread so pardon me if this was already answered. Is clockspring the same for 15-17 and 18-19? So to add heat to 18 XLT 302a we would still use HL3Z-14A664-B? TIA.
