Headlight upgrade
Diode Dynamics SL1, LEDs. Not cheap, but you usually get what you pay for. Myself, I've got them Hi/Lo, and there are others here that have them as well.
If being flashed by other drivers is any indication of bad alignment or glare production, bad pattern or what ever else anyone can come up with, I honestly can say, I've never been flashed with these, and see very well. Great improvement over the OEM halogen junk.

Some guys go thru the wheelwell, I chose to pull the whole bucket to gain whatever room my barn had. Being olde and arthritic, it's worth the little extra work.
The Lo beam is a tight fit, just need to work with it a little. The Hi beams slip right in. I was able to get both OEM dust caps back on with no problem. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

I went the wheel well route but later had the headlights out via the front, I installed matching body colored trim in place of black plastic XL pieces. The tire route was putsy and almost as long a job as the front end but neither is difficult. That was about 2 years ago but I think around an hour either way, "Olde and artritic" aptly apply to me also adding somewhat overweight. KM

I just put a set of SL1 high and low beams on a month or so ago. Did left side through the wheel well. Removed the headlight assembly on the right. Then went back to the left and did it right. You'll never get the driver assemblies under the dust covers working through the well. Not without abusing the hell out of them.
For some reason, despite the fact that a side by side comparison showed the tabs in the same locations as the factory lights, the SL1 over rotated by about 20 degrees. The tab collars have a small set screw that lets you adjust them though. Making those adjustments through the wheel well is a nightmare.
If you're not trying to rush, I'd say easier but more time consuming than rear shocks.
